Introduction

     Capacity building of Farmers, Rural youth, and Extension personnel is a vital mandate of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs). At Shri Siddhagiri KVK, Kaneri, Kolhapur, we organize need-based skill-oriented and knowledge-based training programs aimed at empowering stakeholders with the latest agricultural technologies, practical skills, and scientific knowledge.Our training programs address the real-time needs of the farming community and promote sustainable agricultural practices across various domains.

Objectives of Training

  • To upgrade the knowledge and skills of farmers, farmwomen, rural youth, and extension workers.

  • To disseminate new and improved agricultural technologies developed by research institutions.

  • To promote income-generating activities and rural entrepreneurship.

  • To build capacity for climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture.

  • To bridge the gap between research and field-level adoption.

1. Farmers and Farmwomen Trainings

2. Vocational Trainings for Rural Youth
